Arrive & settle into Negombo
Meet near Colombo airport and keep the first day light. A welcome meal, no long transfer on arrival day.
- Day 1
Into the hills: Kandy
Inland to Kandy. Lakeside walk and the city centre, with the Temple of the Tooth if timings allow.
- Day 2
Kandy to Ella
Through the hill country to Ella. A rail section if services and tickets work, road as the fallback.
No specific train is promised.
- Day 3
Ella’s bridges & viewpoints
Early at Nine Arch Bridge, then Little Adam’s Peak. Tea and cafés in the afternoon.
- Day 4
Down to Mirissa
South to the coast with breaks on the way. Beachside dinner.
- Day 5
A day on the south coast
A proper beach day, or a beginner surf session around Weligama.
Lessons and drinks are optional and paid separately.
- Day 6
Galle Fort & a final evening
Fort lanes, small shops and an evening on the ramparts.
- Day 7
Return to the airport
Transfer to Colombo airport in the agreed window.
